Listen before designing
The best ideas often come from the way an owner describes the business, the customers, and the small details people remember.
About Sam
Websites by Sam is a small, independent web studio focused on helping local businesses look professional online without losing what makes them personal.

Designer & developer
Based in Central Florida and working directly with small-business owners.
I studied computer science in college, but I have always had a passion for design. Website development brings those interests together: the technical problem-solving that makes a site fast, reliable, and useful, and the visual thinking that gives a business its own recognizable online personality.
A lot of small businesses are excellent in person but almost invisible online. They may rely only on social media, have an outdated website, or have a site that never really explains why customers love them.
I started Websites by Sam to help close that gap. I want a restaurant owner, contractor, maker, salon, caterer, or local professional to have a website that feels as thoughtful and credible as the service they provide in real life.
You work directly with me from the first conversation through launch. I learn the business, organize the content, design the experience, build the website, and stay available after it goes live.
“My goal is not to make every small business look the same. It is to make each one look more like itself.”
How I work
The best ideas often come from the way an owner describes the business, the customers, and the small details people remember.
Each part of the site should answer a question, build trust, or help a visitor take the next step.
Not every business needs AI or a complex integration. I recommend what is actually useful instead of selling unnecessary features.
A website is more valuable when someone remains responsible for keeping it accurate, secure, and useful as the business changes.
What working together feels like
No account manager or handoff to someone you have never met.
I explain what is useful, what is optional, and what may not be worth the cost.
You receive a written outline of the pages, features, and responsibilities before work begins.
You are not left alone with a website you are afraid to touch once it goes live.
